"The Kiss"

"The Kiss" is a memoir by Kathryn Harrison, who as
a college student had an affair with her ex-theologian father.
She did not really meet her father until she was 20 years old.
He was absent during most of her childhood.
Kathryn takes the reader on a difficult journey into her loveless childhood,
her bouts with anorexia, bulimia, and eventually, the incestuous
four year affair with her father.
While reading this book, I had stop now and again to
remind myself that this was a true story.
